Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) – Adult MHFAider® Course

· Spot when someone might be experiencing poor mental health and offer initial support

· Encourage people to reach out for professional help and other types of support

· Use active listening and empathy in real conversations

· Talk about mental health using clear, supportive, non-judgemental language

· Understand exactly what the MHFAider® role involves—boundaries, confidentiality, and when to step in

· Look after your own wellbeing and practise self-care

· Use the MHFAider Support App® to stay connected and informed

Course Duration

Two full days 09:00 – 17:00

Certification

After finishing the course, you’ll receive a Mental Health First Aid certificate from MHFA England, valid for three years.
